Our Practice
Caroline M. Turner
Formerly a British nurse, but now an accomplished trial lawyer, Caroline did a Master’s Degree at the University of Pennsylvania in Bioethics in 2001 prior to completing her law degree at Temple University Beasley School of Law in 2004. Caroline’s love of the law developed while she was living in Spain and fund-raising and campaigning on behalf of refugees during the civil war in Bosnia back in the early nineties. She was invited to go with a convoy bringing supplies to Bosnia by the Aragonese government. It was her experience there that solidified her desire to fight for justice and to pursue the law. She worked as a public defender in New Jersey working firstly in South Jersey and then in Trenton for a total of 11 years. During that time she completed a LLM degree in trial advocacy at Temple University School of Law in 2010 and she has done dozens of jury trials with an outstanding success rate of acquittals.
She has been with Swartz Culleton PC since January 2018 and is concentrating her practice on nursing home negligence and medical malpractice. She was on the Dean’s List at Temple University School of Law and won a prize for best research paper at her graduation in 2005. She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
